JoJo Styles Renews His Love for Latin Instrumental Jazz on Two Releases

Oakland, CA-May 1, 2008- JoJo Styles got inspiration from living in the Bay Area during rock music’s most pivotal and productive times, the 60s. JoJo had the opportunity to see Hendrix, Santana, Miles Davis, John McLaughlin, Chick Corea and other luminaries of the day at the festivals and concerts going on regularly at venues and parks. It was the most colorful and influential decade of music and anyone that was lucky enough to experience it all can attest to that fact.

Miles High Productions Press Release: Sean Costello 1979 - 2008

Los Angeles, April 16, 2008-Delta Groove recording artist Sean Costello passed away in Atlanta, GA on Tuesday, April 15th, one day before his 29th birthday. Sean was not only a member of the Delta Groove musical family, he was also a friend, and words cannot express the sorrow we feel at having to say goodbye so soon. Losing someone as young, vibrant, and talented as Sean, who had accomplished so much in just a few short years and still had so much potential is a terribly difficult blow, not only to those who knew him personally, but for the music community as a whole. He had been unanimously praised as one of the main torch-bearers of the blues flame for the coming generations, and now that potential will go sadly unfulfilled.

Jimi Hendrix Experience's "Are You Experienced?"

Cover Story Interview with photography by Karl Ferris Subject: Mike Goldstein, RockPop Gallery, Are You Experienced?, a 1967 release (on Reprise Records) by the Jimi Hendrix Experience, with cover photo & design by Karl Ferris. Considered by many music fans and critics as one of the (if not THE) greatest debut record from a rock-era artist, Are You Experienced (with or without the ?) also illustrated how records were produced, packaged and tailored for distribution to the world's music marketplaces.

ARTIST SPOTLIGHT Radium88 INTERVIEW Charity Van Deberg

The
members of Radium88 keep their background as steeped in mystery as the music
they perform. All accounts agree that they are from Nottingham, England, but
little more can be found. Any biography or interview with members Tim Thwaites,
Jema Davies, Matt Clare, Clare Hunt, and Mike Clifford (with the occasional
assistance of Matt Cambridge) perpetuates the ambiguity with stories of stealth
knitting needles, anarchist societies, cave dwelling, and artificial limbs.

Perhaps it is an evil ploy to
conceal their true otherworldly origins, or maybe they just want their listeners
to focus on the sounds and not the back story. Featuring piano, keyboard,
guitar, harmonica, autoharp, mandolin, violin, cornet, and cello blended with
hypnotic extraterrestrial rhythms, sound effects, and robotic voices, Radium88's
fifth album, Only Science Can Tell Us the Truth has a sound unlike any other.
