Streamripper is a Open Source (GPL) program that connects to streaming MP3/shoutcast-compatible servers and downloads the tracks to your hard drive. You can record an entire broadcast or select stations by genre and also filter by song title and more. Streamripper automatically creates a folder with the name of the station, and saves all songs as individual MP3 files. Additional features include ID3 tag support, freeform text search, station browser. You can optionally connect WinAmp or Windows Media Player to the stream and listen to it while recording.
