News » David Bowie to perform at Tibet Benefit Concert
Music BowieNet confirms David Bowie to play Tibet House Benefit Concert again in 2003: -
Date: February 28th 2003
Venue: Carnegie Hall, NYC
Details: As usual, Philip Glass will be the Artistic Director, and to date, David Bowie, Laurie Anderson, Ray Davies, Angelique Kidjo, Ziggy Marley, Rufus Wainwright and the Drepung Gomang monks have accepted invitations to play.

This will be the third time David Bowie has performed for this benefit. Last February, he performed a special version of I Would Be Your Slave, before the album, Heathen, came out. He is said to be writing new music now, so there's a good chance something new will be performed. Check the Tibet House site for further details.
